Store Policies :
Please Note: All of our Encaustic paints are created by hand, so no two hives are identical in size. Although we try our best to keep consistent in size, each mold has been hand created and is unique by nature. Please allow for slight variances.

All items are applicable to taxes set by standards of the government. When shopping our Etsy shop please note that all of our taxes have been included within the sale price. All of our merchandise is a final sale. We do not accept refunds or exchanges. That being said if you have any concerns about your product please contact us and we will help rectify the situation.

Colours may vary from screen to screen depending on what kind of computer you are using.

All of our paint recipes are consistent so you can be reassured that once you've fallen for a particular colour you will be able to find it again in our shop. However, If for any reason our paint recipe should be adjusted or if it is discontinued. We will post a note beside the *new* product.

Wholesale and Special Orders:
Your needs are important to us, if you should have any special requests, like workshop loot bags, or custom or wholesale orders please feel free contact us and we will get back to you in a timely fashion.

Shipping:
Upon your purchase, your paints will be shipped out within three to five business days through Canada Post. You will be notified via email the date your parcel was shipped. All shipping is 100% insured.

All packages will be shipped by air unless you are local, then we will ship by ground. Since we try to keep our shipping prices low, not all orders will have tracking numbers as it tends to double the price. Please allow allow 6-12 business days for your order to arrive, this is the standard time recommended by Canada Post.

If you have special shipping needs like express delivery or you require a tracking number, please contact us prior to your purchase so that we may add the necessary fees.

We package all of our paints with care. Each colour is packaged individually in plastic bags. Depending on the size of your order your paints will be shipped in either a bubble wrapped envelope or a box. We try to reuse like-new boxes when ever possible.

Separate Address:
If your order needs to be sent to a separate address or you have a special gift address, please let us know ahead by including the full shipping details. Thank-you!

A Note on 'Blooming':
Due to a natural chemical reaction within the wax, you may notice that your painting has developed what is known as 'bloom', which is a grayish, foggy dust. This is normal and can be fixed. Simply reheat your work at a low temperature or rub with a soft cloth and the bloom will cease. Repeat if necessary. Since beeswax is naturally impervious to moisture Encaustic is extremely durable therefore it will not deteriorate or yellow.
